My Work
I’ve always enjoyed figuring out how things work and, more importantly, figuring out why they don’t work. I have years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining small engines and outdoor power equipment. I take a practical approach to repairs—properly diagnosing the problem before replacing parts and looking for an economical repair whenever possible. There’s something satisfying about taking a machine that someone has given up on and getting it running well again.I work on a wide variety of small-engine equipment, including chainsaws, lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, pressure washers, generators, tillers, and other gasoline-powered outdoor equipment. Services can range from routine tune-ups and maintenance to diagnosing no-start and poor-running conditions, carburetor cleaning and rebuilding, fuel-system repairs, ignition problems, recoil starters, fuel lines, filters, spark plugs, and other mechanical repairs. I’m also happy to look at older equipment that other shops may not be interested in working on.As a small local operation, my goal is to provide straightforward, reasonably priced repairs without automatically throwing expensive parts at a problem. Sometimes a machine simply needs a carburetor cleaned, an old fuel line replaced, or a little troubleshooting to bring it back to life.
